Rotary bur-free implant site preparation
Black Ruby of next generation with DLC coating. Premium osseodensification with smooth instrument advancement. The DLC surface is associated in the literature with low friction; clinical effects depend on instrument geometry, protocol, bone quality, and surgeon technique.
Sinus lift with millimetric stops
Kit Elevate with DLC-coated inserts. Crestal sinus floor elevation with millimetric stops: incremental advancement read directly on the instrument, supporting controlled work in the proximity of the Schneiderian membrane. Subject to clinical judgment and CBCT planning.
Bone quality at the implant site
Osseodensification by impulse generated by MAGNETODYNAMICS technology compacts cancellous bone laterally rather than excavating it. Supports peri-implant density and primary stability, also relevant in low-density bone (D3-D4).
03 DLC coating · Diamond Like Carbon
A material-level surface treatment
from the biomedical literature.
Black Ruby and Kit Elevate carry an amorphous-carbon coating with near-diamond hardness. The biomedical literature reports a low coefficient of friction (around 0.1) for some DLC/ADLC coatings under defined test conditions, along with high hardness, wear resistance, and biocompatibility. Clinical effects depend on instrument geometry, protocol, bone quality, and surgeon technique.
